CancerKidsFirst GTA is a charity based in Canada
that focuses on bettering the lives of pediatric
cancer patients.

Our organization was founded in 2020 in hopes of
providing pediatric cancer patients
with a chance at a normal childhood and to raise
awareness towards children battling cancer.

We currently have art initiatives where anyone in the
GTA can earn volunteer hours for participating in!

Our recipients

We are currently partnered with hospitals and patients not only in Canada but across the world. One hospital we have worked with in the past is the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener where we provided support to their pediatric oncology clinic. Throughout the year, we will send lots of physical and digital "get well" cards to patients anywhere between the age of just a few months to teenage years. We also send cards to parents who request them.

We know how hard it can be for a child battling through cancer which is why we have a free card request program where you can request handmade cards from the wonderful volunteers in our Arts Volunteer Program. If you wish, your pediatric cancer patient's story can also be shared in our Cancer Warriors Program, which strives to raise awareness about pediatric cancer.
